Christine grew up swimming in the NVSL and fell in love with summer swim. She was a past AFC swim team rep. Her boys enjoyed a few years of swim team and tennis before they became dedicated to rugby. Her son Ronan can be find working in the snack bar. She enjoys adult swim and family dinners at the pool.

We have been members for 12 years and our two kids, now both teens, have enjoyed Swim, Dive, Tennis and even Lifeguarding at AFC. I love that the club is part of the neighborhood. As the Treasurer, I am responsible for the club finances. I am a certified accountant and have worked in accounting and finance for more than 20 years.

We have been members of AFC since 2006. For most of those years we have had at least one (if not all three) of our kids on the swim team. We love the fact that the AFC community is a wonderful extension of our neighborhood and of the kids’ school friends over the years.

My husband Ken and I (plus our three kids) have taken advantage of so much of what AFC offers, including: swim team, tennis lessons, water aerobics, pickle ball, adult swim, and BBQ/float nights. We come for the activities and stay for our friends!

On hot summer days, my family (including my wife Linh, our two children, and myself) love taking a dip in the pool and playing tennis frequently. Our son had a fantastic time swimming for the swim team, while our daughter relishes playing for the junior tennis team.

Paul, our son Brooks (10), and I enjoy grill night and Sunday early suppers with friends in the picnic area. Brooks participates in the swim team. I wish we enjoyed tennis, but a coach once told me to find a new sport!

My wife Casey and our 2 children have been members at AFC for over 20 years. Both our kids participated in swim team from 8U through graduation and we spent many a Saturday morning on the deck as timers and judges. Outside of AFC you can find me on the basketball court as a fan, coach and occasionally still playing.
